Outside Mount
Use an outside mount when the blind cannot fit properly inside the frame or when you want more coverage to reduce light gaps.
Outside Mount
Mount the blind outside the window opening when you need extra coverage or the inside frame is too shallow.
Measure the Overall Size
Measure the window opening, then make the finished blind larger so it overlaps the frame. Add 3" to the width and add 3" to the height.
• The frame is too shallow for an inside mount.
• You do not have about 2" depth and 1.5" flat space for the brackets.
• A handle, lock, crank, or trim may hit the blind, especially on patio or sliding doors.
• You want more coverage to help reduce light gaps.
Works for zebra blinds and roller blinds.
Enter the Finished Size
Enter the exact overall width and height you want the blind to cover. Check trim, handles and nearby obstructions.
