Zebra Blinds Inc. started with a simple belief: customers deserve better-quality window coverings, honest service, and fair factory-direct pricing.

My name is Lawrence, and building this company has been much more than starting a business. It has taken years of hard work, long days, persistence, and the support of family.

From the very beginning, my brother-in-law, Karan Prashar, was beside me. Before we had the operation we have today, Karan spent more than a year working alongside me and helping voluntarily. We travelled together, met customers, handled jobs, solved problems, and kept pushing forward every day.

Eventually, after all that work, we established our own place in Oshawa. Seeing what we had worked toward finally becoming real was an incredibly proud moment for both of us.

Karan will always be part of the foundation and story of Zebra Blinds Inc. His contribution to this company, and what he means to me personally, is something I will never forget.

Why We Wanted to Build Something Different

Working in the window-covering industry taught us that two blinds can look similar in a photograph but be completely different in quality.

The fabric matters. The components matter. The mechanisms matter. Accurate measurements matter. And professional installation matters.

We did not want Zebra Blinds Inc. to become another company simply selling whatever products were commonly available.
